We Have All The Features

Excellent Faculty

More than 20 professors and lecturers in Neuroscience from the School of Biology, Psychology, and Medicine of Sapienza as well as many Neuroscientists and colleagues specialized in Neuroanatomy, Molecular Neurobiology, Neurochemistry, Neurophysiology, Developmental Neurobiology, Computational Neuroscience as well as in animal models of neurological and psychiatric diseases,
emotion and memory are involved in teaching.

Our Master

Main objective of our MSC is to train new Neuroscientists, by offering a unique interdisciplinary and integrated approach, with special emphasis on cutting edge techniques, in order to understand normal brain functions and brain disorders. The MSC in Neurobiology is a two-year, full-time program school. Teaching comprises lectures, research seminars, work groups, demonstrations, lab visits and practice. Application opens in July.

Research

The Neuroscience community in Rome, which includes the Sapienza University, has grown significantly in the last 20 years, so much so as to become one of the largest in Italy. Thus, to address their experimental master thesis, our students will have many opportunities for choice, they will be able to attend laboratories directed by leading scientists in the field, in an international environment, and become an active part of research projects. This wealth of projects will also be an inspiration for those who want to continue with one of the Sapienza PhD courses.
